Fiji-focused Vatukoula Gold Mines PLC (AIM: VGM) said it appointed John F Kearney and John A MacPherson of Canadian Zinc Corp (TSX: CZN; OTCBB: CZICF) to the board as non-executive directors with immediate effect.
The appointments are part of the recent subscription agreement with Canadian Zinc which currently holds 20.01 percent in the company.
Kearney is Canadian Zinc’s chairman and president and MacPherson is a director and founding chairman of the group.
Vatukoula added that non-executive director Neil Herbert has resigned as of July 8.
